no '93 hatch came with a DOHC VTEC engine from the factory.

im not a honda guy, but i would say if it has a b16 in it, keep it, those are some awesome engines. or if you have money to burn a h22 swap.

i would actually recommend an 88-96 toyota celica alltrac. the 3sgte is a kick ass motor, and it has a lot of potential if you build it right, plus its not a ricer car. it will also serve well for a AutoX car.
