One mans dream another ones nightmare as they say... No the decals went on like a dream, because first of all the were the right size and were able to stay on the model! Anyone who have toyed with the original issue Modelers Footwork will know what a proper sized decal, but absolutely no glue and no conforming to curves may do for your bloodpressure. The S27 FW12 decals are top notch Cartograf produced decals. Yes they are tricky to apply, but that will always be the case with a flat piece going over some compound curves.
Your seat detail looks very good, but you could have saved the buckles on the crotch straps. These are fixed through a loop on the lap belts to spread out and ease the load on a sensitive part of the male body :-)
The paint looks good but don't clear it before the rest of the decals are on ;-)
Best regards
Flemming
