I don't think its a lack of interest (we all need parts) I think its that you've covered the majority of sources. But heres one to add for used parts http://car-part.com/ it will let you search by state or region and give you an idea whats out there. Naturally they only catalog the larger parts so tirm parts and small stuff probably won't be listed. [Reply]
I would add Transmission Exchange (www.txchange.com) in Oregon. They have all the soft parts - clutches and band - to rebuild the auto transmission on the metro. Good price - as I recall about $2 for each clutch plate and each disc and about $13 for the band. They also sell the gasket pack and depending on your luck they also have a good selection of used hard parts for the transmission. They may do a packaged rebuild kit and can also order you any special transmission service tools from ATEC or KM if you need it but for that I've found ebay a better source for price when they do become available.
